Mike Is Totally INZANE! – Hiking The Pacific Crest Trail For Zimbabwe Pensioners

Mike, it seems, is joining the elite group of totally InZANErs on a nearly permanent basis!

Having completed the Appalachian Trail last year, he has decided to take on the Pacific Crest Trail for 2019.

The trail starts on the US border with Mexico just south of Campo, California traversing the Colorado desert before ascending into the Sierra Nevada and Cascade mountain ranges to finish at Manning Park in British Columbia – a hike of 4,270km (2,653 miles.)

Once again Mike will be dedicating his hike to work of ZANE in Zimbabwe.

With the further collapse of the economy and infrastructure in Zimbabwe, particularly the shortage of fuel and medicines made even worse by the devastation of Cyclone Idai, the work of ZANE has never been more important.

Countless elderly and vulnerable people rely on ZANE for care on a daily basis. ZANE helps the elderly with food and medicine as well as running programmes for the treatment of clubfoot and the provision of hearing aids to children.
